At the end of a long hadeeth, beloved prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, '..Then it will be a Khilafah on the premises of the Prophet Hood', then he (the Prophet) kept silent. (Musnad Ahmed) This hadeeth foretold about a future regime which to be established before the last day and not yet happened. The Muslim Ummah (society) has gone through almost every stages noted unless through a Khilafah (a perfect regime) after its drop in 1923 in Istanbul. And it's glad to say that some nations, some leaders and some movements throughout the Muslim community have started their try towards a Khilafah and to establish it soon. Anyhow it won't be a regime same as which was in Medina, Bagdad, Damascus, Delhi, Cairo and then in Istanbul. As to conditions of an era change the features of a rule and regime too change as it goes. Every one could easily understand this thing. In this situation, whoever tries for a Khilafah, which is same as in past won't be suitable and won't last almost wont starts.

The annual anniversary of the tragedy of 9/11 passed with much fanfare as it has been passing ‎for last ten years. Taking stock of things as an ordinary US citizen, you will feel that as an ‎individual, you have lost much and as a country, the United States has lost even more than you ‎do. The first blow that the incident of 9/1 caused was restrictions on the personal freedoms ‎specifically if you belong to Muslim and Indian community, having your surname or first name ‎sounding Muhammad, Mahmood or Ahmad. You go through constant hassles and mental ‎torture of eves dropping by the security agency and then bickering and slander by the all and ‎sundry as if you are a walking anathema in the United States. Thought this is not common and ‎widespread, yet it is a fact that several Asian and Middle Eastern Muslims have testified. ‎ The second fallout is decrease in tolerance and misuse of the freedom of expression. Again the ‎most of the victims are Muslims even though one has been living in the United States for ‎decades. A home to so many freedom loving persons, the United States is no more considered a ‎safe haven for several migrant Muslim communities. They are no more tolerated in the same ‎way as they used to enjoy freedom before the 9/11 and second is attacks that should be called ‎vicious attacks like the fellow Terry Jones and recently filming against Islam and Prophet ‎‎[PBUH] are quite on the rise. It is sheer misuse of freedom of expression that different anti-‎Islamic demagogues are spitting their venom using social media and other platforms and ‎creating physical violence. The consequence is that the Americans specifically ordinary ‎Americans are becoming targets of the ensuring violence as it has happened in Libya and Egypt ‎the other day.‎

I follow Andy as @andycinek on Twitter. When he was let go, I bookmarked the piece that he blogged. It was wrenching. It is nice to have good endings to a sad story. It is the POWER of a PLN.

You might find something of interest to you here! When I first set out to create this site, I wanted it, above anything else, to be something practical. We all include them in our lesson planning for illustration and more elucidation purposes especially when it comes to explaining hard concepts. Islam is the religion of peace and harmony. It teaches the tolerance and to give respect to all the religions and their Prophets. However, unfortunately Muslims have, always been exploited and misunderstood by the west. A very incidence of anti Islamic film has spread the rage across the Muslim world. This anti Islamic film is the sign of blind freedom of expression in the west. This film is propaganda and is, produced to invoke the Muslim's extreme reaction. Thus, it gives the right insight to motives of an extremist driving force working behind such kind of incidences. Protests are, held in a number of countries across the world. Some were peaceful others turned into violence. Muslims need to know the real aim of those inhumane actors working behind these blasphemous acts. They should have to tell the world that they should not lose their senses while protesting against such anti Islamic act. Like in many countries, other people have lost their lives during these protests by action of security forces or in some cases, by some unknown attackers who took advantage to get their aims. One of the prominent country in which Muslims protested is Egypt where in Cairo some 200 young men stormed the US embassy and this crowd was then dispersed by the security forces with tear gas. Due to concerns over the turning of the protesting rallies into some violent clash, Islamist party called off the rally even then thousands of people protested in demonstrations at different parts of Egypt.

Poetry 180 is designed to make it easy for students to hear or read a poem on each of the 180 days of the school year. I have selected the poems you will find here with high school students in mind. They are intended to be listened to, and I suggest that all members of the school community be included as readers. A great time for the readings would be following the end of daily announcements over the public address system.
