world a bit more". They felt it was important that teenagers, and younger children, learnt
about difficult issues:

Process drama engages participants in imaginative, yet tangible, experiences that bring children closer to the characters in the book. The students face the situations as the characters do; with little to no sense of what the outcome will be. Using role-play to investigate the story from the characters' perspectives encourages students to experience the story emotionally and intellectually, making it more personal and immediate.
