molleesheehan on 21 Jul 112. Students definitely are searching to connect with those with like interests. 3. We have not yet seen how long the 2015 group will last. I'm curious to learn how the School App keeps student engaged through year 4. 4. Also, there is a point that we aren't certain that everyone who joins the group is a 2015 WSU student. Not sure that is all bad though. A current student might join the group, say, if they aren't on a 4-yr plan, and will end up graduating in 2015. Current students could provide insight. 5. I am concerned with the fact that it is an outside APp. Before joining the community, a WSU student would have to grant permissions to the app. Many people are turned off by this and feel like it is too much of an infringement on privacy. A basic Facebook Group can't mine data from its group members' profiles, can't access members' friends, etc. Many apps require this. Lastly, at the bottom of the info page, I noticed that School Apps holds a free webinar every Friday at 2pm EST. I would be willing to attend with you if you would like sometime before your conferene. WHat are your confrerence dates?
