Having-An-Attitude-of-Gratitude-Will-Change-Your-Life-Forever - 0 views

  •
We live in a society where we're conditioned to always be striving for more; for bigger and better things. When do we ever arrive at a happy place? Do we arrive there today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year? Hopefully, by reading this lens; you'll start to recognize the things in your life that you do have and are able to enjoy. I think, it's important to take the time to acknowledge the things in our lives that bring us joy. Also, there is a saying that whatever you think about expands. My theory is that by focusing on the things that we are grateful for on a regular basis; is that we attract more things to be grateful for.I've found that by having an attitude of gratitude, I can enjoy the abundance that surrounds me.The more that I'm grateful for what I have, the more I can appreciate life in the present moment. The more I live in the present moment, the greater I can build the stepping stones for a great future. I've also found that by having an attitude of gratitude; that I'm more focused on the solutions, than the problems. So, it's important to remember the power of gratitude.

Every Act, Thought, and Deed that We Think, Act, or Do is Energy Put Out into the Cosmo... - 0 views

  •
As human beings, we're taught to believe that we're so small and insignificant that what we think, act, and do doesn't matter in the big scope of things. Little do we know that every act, thought, and deed that we think, act, and do is energy put out into the cosmos that has an affect on the universe, the world, and humanity.

Let the Words Flow - FictionPress.com - 0 views

  •
A site on which one can publish one's fiction. The social networking aspect of the site seems to be limited to the posting of reviews. Having not yet registered an account on this site, I don't know whether or not one can screen the reviews of one's stories. As each story page seems to link to a page of reviews of the story appearing on that page, if the answer to this question is "no", then what one would have, in effect, would be a guestbook that one couldn't moderate, with all of the possibilities for abuse that creates. I don't know that's the case, but I also don't know that's not the case, so I'll set up that account in a few days and learn more. I just didn't want somebody blindly stumbling into trouble, thinking that I had checked out something that I hadn't, yet.

My Alcoholic Mind Was Fueled By Alcohol Which Led To Alcoholism - 0 views

  •
My journey with Alcohol started when I turned 21. I sort of knew that I was an alcoholic before I ever took that first drink of alcohol. I wouldn't know until years, that my premonition about alcoholism was true. I had to learn the hard way; that drinking alcohol, wasn't for me. Unfortunately, I wasn't born with a manual that said," do not drink alcohol." I learned as a child that alcohol was fun. People drank alcohol to relax and have a good time. <!-- wysiwyg -->

The Sober Life, If You Don't Drink Alcohol, You Won't Get Drunk - 1 views

  •
The craziness of the insanity caused by alcoholism is that the practicing alcoholic will never think that if you don't drink alcohol, you won't get drunk. That thought never occurs in the alcoholic that is stuck in the insanity of their addiction and is still drinking alcohol. The alcoholic never sees the alcohol, as the cause of the problem.

Writing on the Internet is All About Using Keywords - 1 views

  •
I realize that writing on the Internet is all about using keywords. Now, I've been writing articles on the Internet for a couple of years now. I have to admit that I've had my hits and misses as I further develop my writing career on the Internet. I stick with topics that I know, that I can give my own view on, and add my own personal experience where I can.

  •
We live in a world where there are those that live in lack and there are those that live in abundance. What is it that makes the difference between living in lack and living in abundance? Is it a matter of the lack mentality versus the abundance mentality? I want to shine some light on some issues that will help answer these questions.

Procrastination-Living-in-the-NOW-not-yesterday-tomorrow-or-next-week- - 0 views

  •
We all procrastinate in one form or another. Either we put things off or say that we'll do them later. If we adopt the attitude of do it now, it can make a tremendous difference in our lives. Sometimes fear stops us, sometimes guilt stops us, sometimes it's just plain laziness that stops us; but, no matter what we blame on the fact that we're not doing it now, the fact is that we're still not doing it now. So, if you are interested in overcoming procrastination; keep reading and start living in the NOW.

Things that I Would Do If I Won the Lottery - 0 views

  •
Hi, my name is Kurt and I'm an alcoholic. That wasn't what you expected to hear when you opened this article. The reason that I tell you this is because a lot of the things that I would do if I won millions of dollars in the lottery involve helping people with recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol.

Being Spiritual Without Being Religious - Associated Content - associatedcontent.com - 0 views

  •
You can be spiritual by meditating and getting to that calm space within yourself. For me, that space is often an empty white room that I have to decide what to put in it or what to do with it.

Head-Injury-information-and-advice-from-a-survivor-living-life - 0 views

  •
I was hit by a car when I was three years old, in 1974. I have grown up all my life with the effects of the head injury. I am now 39 years old. When I was hit by the car, I was in a coma for two weeks afterwards. I had to learn how to do everything all over again. The effects of the accident, left me with coordination and learning problems. As well as a life-long struggle with depression. I also still have a mild tremor in my hands. I am writing this in the hope that I will provide encouragement to people who have had head injuries and that they should never give up. The only people who really know what the effects are, are those that live with them every day. Life is a learning and a growth experience. Just remember this, where there's a will, there's a way. I am constantly pushing the limits of my abilities and am therefore, constantly growing; both physically and mentally. Peace...

Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury - 0 views

To be truly inspired and motivated to act, I have to have a deep understanding of why I'm doing things, because otherwise, I figure; what's the point? Thinking like this isn't always beneficial and it can be quite a hindrance when you know that there are things that need to get done.
