Second Life--Chapter 9 - 1 views

  •
Waxhaw-Blanchard/Lawrence--I have known about Second Life for awhile now because of the video I am posting. It was created to teach others about cystic fibrosis, but most importantly it allows those with CF to interact and communicate. Why is this important? Because people with CF are not supposed to be around each other because they cross infect each other with life-threatening bacteria which can further damage their lungs. Second Life is a great resource for them to have a sense of belonging when ordinarily they cannot.
