How To Clean WP Options - Slow MySQL Queries | Revellian Dot Com - 0 views

  •
When your self hosted wordpress site is getting slow, or lots of cpu quota exceeded errors, how do you fix it? One place you need to look is in your main directory (using c-panel's file manager) - find a file called tmp. Inside it, you'll see several folders, one of them is "slow mysql queries". I used cheap shared hosting like most people (blue host, host gator, etc.). Because of that, you will experience problems - especially if you start getting a lot of traffic. What I'm meaning is 500+ individual visitors per day.

Solve the error message of gallery2-"1033: Incorrect information in file..." - 2 views

  •
It did not show any error message or the database can not be used, when i upgrade Wordpress before, but when i would like to change the content of my.cnf to optimize the mysql, it seems that has become very difficult. Why do I have to say so? That is because i can access and enable mysql after I changed my.cnf file...

Should I change my WordPress MySQL database tables from MyISAM to InnoDB? | TCBarrett - 0 views

  • MySQL’s default storage engine changed from MyISAM to InnoDB with version 5.5
  •
InnoDB is, in theory, always going to be a better storage engine. Offering database features that should be part and parcel of all applications. On the internet, speed is king. Faster pages are always better. So, unless you know differently, leave things as they are. Your host controls your database version. Your database developers have tuned and selected the fastest engine. Go with that.

WordPress is popular blogging software used by over 60 million people. If you have a WordPress blog, you want to ensure that your server load is manageable and that your load times are fast. You also want your data to be protected in case your server fails. With that in mind, we at OblakSoft created the Cloud Storage Engine for MySQL (ClouSE). It stores all your WordPress data on Google Cloud Storage, taking the load off your server to improve reliability and speed, and to reduce hosting costs.

"WP Migrate DB exports your database as a MySQL data dump (much like phpMyAdmin), does a find and replace on URLs and file paths, then allows you to save it to your computer. It is perfect for developers who develop locally and need to move their WordPress site to a staging or production server."

WP Migrate DB exports your database as a MySQL data dump (much like phpMyAdmin), does a find and replace on URLs and file paths, then allows you to save it to your computer. It is perfect for developers who need to update their local install with fresh data from the production site, or copy their locally developed site to a staging or production server. It even takes into account serialized data (both arrays and objects) and updates the string length values."
