ΛορδΧηαος » WordPress Plugin: Challenge - 0 views

  •
Welcome to the Challenge plugin documentation page. Challenge is a WordPress plugin based on and improved over Steve Herod's "Did you pass math?" plugin, Challenge restricts comment spam by throwing the commenter a challenge. The default challenge is an addition and multiplication math question. The challenge and the answer can also be user-defined. They can be of anything including PHP-evaluatable expressions. The positions of the challenge and the answer are also customizable via the plugin's own 'Options' page in the Wordpress Admin page. This plugin can also be used to ensure the commenter's basic intelligence before he/she/it leaves a comment.

OptionTree | WP.Envato - 12 views

  •
Hooray! No need to code theme options for #WordPress themes, thanks to the @OptionTree plugin from @Envato! http://bit.ly/m6Iuqp
  •
"What is OptionTree? Theme Options are what make a WordPress Theme truly custom. OptionTree attempts to bridge the gap between developers, designers and end-users by solving the admin User Interface issues that arise when creating a custom theme. Designers shouldn't have to be limited to what they can create visually because their programming skills aren't as developed as they would like. Also, programmers shouldn't have to recreate the wheel for every new project, so in walks OptionTree."

How to Include JavaScript and CSS in Your WordPress Themes and Plugins | Wptuts+ - 0 views

  • a selection of common JavaScript libraries are already included that you can use for your JavaScript development
  • be selective about which pages you load your scripts on. If your plugin or theme has a script that only does something on one front-end or admin page, such as the theme’s options page, or maybe a page with a specific widget, you only need to load your script on that page. No point clogging things up and loading scripts on pages where they’re not being used!
  • it’s perfectly possible to prioritise scripts and styles and nominate whether they load in the header or footer from the comfort and safety of your functions.php. The benefit being that your theme / framework will work with a wider range of other plugins / child themes.
