Hurricane Ike was said to be a category 2 and about to be 3, that it was very bad and it was a disaster. Also the economy went down, and a lot of people had to evacuate the place. People were on the news, they were sad, angry, and despred to go back home. They wanted to go home and go back to their lifes, but also some of the homes over there were ruin because of the water that was so strong and destroyed the houses. People were devastated and a lot of people went to salter homes to get help, food, water and a place to stay until the hurricane passes.
