Story Cove folktales come from a variety of cultures and places. They share timeless values and simple, universal lessons.
The Story Cove format enables children, families and teachers to explore these stories in a variety of ways. As a result, each child is able to develop a more personal understanding of a story while learning about the world.
Children will enjoy watching the Movies and exploring the activities and games that are linked to that story.
Activities are designed for one-on-one, personal play with interactive puzzles, music fun and hidden pictures.
Lesson Plans extend the story elements to explore the original story with projects and activities that require interaction with adults or other members of the family away from the PC.
The Art of Storytelling website was created by The Delaware Art Museum to allow online visitors to engage with our collections in a unique and creative way. Beyond experiencing our rich variety of art works in the traditional museum setting, this online project - the Art of Storytelling - allows visitors to create their own pictures and stories inspired by works in the museum. These visitor creations can then be shared, both as an email to a friend and published to this site as an entry for all to experience. In addition to creating pictures and writing stories, visitors with microphones enabled on their computers can also record their stories for others to hear. Please explore the site, hear and see what others have created and submit your own story on the Art of Storytelling website.

Hypertextopia is a space where you can read and write stories for the internet. On the surface, it looks like a mind-map, but it embeds a word-processor, and allows you to publish your stories like a blog.
It's designed to facilitate the writing of axial hypertexts by making a distinction between the fragments (essential elements) and the shards (minor, but enriching elements) of a story. You write in Hypertextopia by dragging the fragment arrow (the large one) or the shard arrow (the small one) and dropping them onto other fragments and shards, or onto empty space.
One Million Monkeys Typing is a community story-telling site.
1. Read
Start reading. When you finish a snippet of text, click 'read more'. You will be presented with three unique paths that continue the story. If you like your options, keep reading.
2. Write
If you reach an end, or simply don't like the story's trajectory, graft a new snippet and take the story's direction into your own hands.
3. Publish
Publish so that others may add on to your story. If it gets ranked well and has enough offshoots it stays, if not, watch it wither
and die.
