Hello and welcome to the VoiceThread 4 Education wiki. This wiki was started by Colette Cassinelli but because of contributors like YOU - it has grown to be comprehensive collection of VoiceThread examples from students and teachers of all ages and groups. The purpose of this wiki is to gather examples of how educators are using Voicethread in their classrooms (or for professional development) and to share those examples.

The purpose of this course is to provide "Just in Time" training through an online interface for K-12 educators based on the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T). These standards are the basic technology skills every educator should possess. In the process, educators will develop their own skills and discover what students need in order to meet the NETS for Students, as well as the new MMC Online Experience requirement.  Participants who fulfill all of the requirements have the opportunity to earn SBCEU's. As kids interests grow, their loops can intersect with other loops - but never without the knowledge of their parents, who have their own console login and can monitor behavior at whatever level they decide is appropriate for their children. They are always informed before a child tries to expand his or her loop, and they are always in control.
