  • n case you didn't see Saturday Night Live this week (yes, I know it's late, I can't stay up that late either) there was a skit in which two brothers excitedly anticipate and then celebrate receiving a Texas Instruments calculator for Christmas. Mathematics in Movies is a collection of video clips from popular movies and television shows in which references to mathematics are made. One of the most recent clips comes from an episode of The Office in which Oscar tries to explain the concept of a budget surplus to Michael. I've embedded the episode below.
