We used it at my former congregation, Trinity, Caledonia, WI. We used it for live streaming the sermon portion of the service and occasionally the full service. We also used it for occasional Bible studies or special presentations. I'd say it works better for smaller venues. At Trinity, we had the camera on a mic stand in front of the front pew. It wasn't as high-res as I would've liked, but it still was worth getting the sermon out on our Facebook pages.
