Glutathione Booster In as little as 24 hours of wearing our Glutathione boosting patch most people are able to experience elevated levels of Glutathione, the body's master antioxidant. Glutathione is so powerful that it is able to naturally detoxify the body, strengthen the immune system and turn back the hands of time with dramatic anti-aging properties. In fact, numerous people have reported that their skin has become more radiant even within a few days of use. Click Here for the Y-Age Slideshow These results have never been available before LifeWave. Our Glutathione boosting patch is much more powerful than any other method of elevating Glutathione levels. FACTS about Glutathione and its benefits in an anti-aging program: * Glutathione is a material that is found naturally in the human body * As we age our bodies levels of Glutathione start to decline, necessitating the need for supplementation * Glutathione is the master antioxidant and plays an important role in our overall health * As we age our body may accumulate toxins; Glutathione protects the body from many toxins we come into contact with every day * As we age we are subjected to numerous heavy metals, in the food we eat and the air we breathe; Glutathione is known to rid the body of heavy metals such as Mercury * When we exercise our body uses up its stores of antioxidants; Glutathione is known to improve athletic performance and to help us keep going longer * As we age our immune system becomes weaker; Glutathione can keep the immune system functioning at its peek. There are other Glutathione supplements on the market, but clinical research shows that common Glutathione pills, powders and drinks can only elevate blood Glutathione levels by little more than 10% in 30 days. Because LifeWave technology is capable of triggering metabolic changes within the cells, our Glutathione Booster has been clinically shown to elevate your blood Glutathione levels by over a whoppin

Research: How you think about your age may affect how you age - 0 views

  • "How old you are matters, but beyond that it's your interpretation that has far-reaching implications for the process of aging," said Markus H. Schafer, a doctoral student in sociology and gerontology who led the study. "So, if you feel old beyond your own chronological years you are probably going to experience a lot of the downsides that we associate with aging. "But if you are older and maintain a sense of being younger, then that gives you an edge in maintaining a lot of the abilities you prize." Schafer and co-author Tetyana P. Shippee, a Purdue graduate who is a research associate at Purdue's Center on Aging and the Life Course, compared people's chronological age and their subjective age to determine which one has a greater influence on cognitive abilities during older adulthood. Nearly 500 people ages 55-74 were surveyed about aging in 1995 and 2005 as part of the National Survey of Midlife Development in the United States. In 1995, when people were asked what age do you feel most of the time, the majority identified with being 12 years younger than they actually were. "We found that these people who felt young for their age were more likely to have greater confidence about their cognitive abilities a decade later," Schafer said. "Yes, chronological age was important, but the subjective age had a stronger effect. "What we are not sure about is what comes first. Does a person's wellness and happiness affect their cognitive abilities or does a person's cognitive ability contribute to their sense of wellness. We are planning to address this in a future study."

The saying "You're only as old as you feel" really seems to resonate with older adults, according to research from Purdue University.

Meditation may change brain's physical structure, strengthen connections | KurzweilAI - 0 views

  •
Meditation may have potential to change the brain's physical structure, researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles, have found. People who meditate have stronger connections between brain regions and show less age-related brain atrophy, according to the researchers. Stronger connections influence the ability to rapidly relay electrical signals in the brain. And significantly, these effects are evident throughout the entire brain, not just in specific areas. The study consisted of 27 active meditation practitioners (average age 52) and 27 control subjects, who were matched by age and sex. The meditation and the control group each consisted of 11 men and 16 women. The number of years of meditation practice ranged from 5 to 46; self-reported meditation styles included Shamatha, Vipassana and Zazen, practiced by about 55 percent of the meditators, either exclusively or in combination with other styles. Pronounced structural connectivity The researchers used a type of brain imaging known as diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), a relatively new imaging mode that provides insights into the structural connectivity of the brain. They found that the differences between meditators and controls are not confined to a particular core region of the brain but involve large-scale networks that include the frontal, temporal, parietal and occipital lobes and the anterior corpus callosum, as well as limbic structures and the brain stem. They found pronounced structural connectivity in meditators throughout the entire brain's pathways. The greatest differences between the two groups were seen within the corticospinal tract (a collection of axons that travel between the cerebral cortex of the brain and the spinal cord), the superior longitudinal fasciculus (long bi-directional bundles of neurons connecting the front and the back of the cerebrum), and the uncinate fasciculus (white matter that connects parts of the limbic system, such as the hippocampus and amygdala, wi

To Avoid Joint Stiffness Wait To Walk Down The Aisle - 1 views

  •
The average age of marriage in the United States is now 29 for men, and that's good news - for their bones. Less stress? More time to sew their oats? A new study published in Osteoporosis International found that getting married after the age of 25 gives men stronger bone density in their spines compared to those who married at a younger age. This finding may have important implications for the prevention of joint aging and stiffness later in life, when bone strength naturally declines.
