This simple 3 page Guitar Primer attempts to satisfy webprog-1-g, and give guitar curious wannabes the guidance they need to get started right!

Cool--getting my 2 month old started on air guitar with impossibly loud stereo to start. Glad he's setting off on the right foot. (Well, that metaphor is a little off, for now.)

Here is my take on explaining how to approach a challenge from Module 3 that was particularly challenging for me.

Hello! I decided to do my 3 (well 4) page assignment on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I included a brief history as well as some of my favorite spots to visit. I was able to include a nav bar on the home page and used the colors found in the coat of arms. I'd like to try a tabbed nav bar however.

I figured I would use this 3-page site to tell a little more about myself (and, hopefully, make you laugh a little bit). It is very simple, but it should give you a little more insight into what you're dealing with.

Hahaha. Thanks, man. We made 3 that day (the third went to my nephew for XMas), and they give them to you in clear plastic bags. So The best part of the whole experience was the reaction from people I passed on the streets of Manhattan!

What coding did you use to place the 3 hyperlinks next to each other, across the top? I'm going to do my 3-page site now, but will most likely leave them vertically.

Nice work here. Some people might look at this code like it has 3 heads--because it does! Each html document should have only 1 head section. But it renders great, and that's all we need for this challenge.

Here is a 4 page site I made for upcoming Connecticut concerts for the month of February. I included a splash page that includes links to Toad's Place, Mohegan Sun, and The Webster. On each of the 3 venue pages, I included links to the venues' official website as well. Then, I included text about upcoming concerts. I purposely didn't link back to the splash page, thinking that once the user is into the venue sites, it wasn't necessary to return there.

My 3-page site. Coming up with the content for these challenges seems to be my biggest challenge. I guess that's why they say "Content is king!" My first two pages feature photos, hyperlinks and text. The last page includes a embedded video that I uploaded to YouTube.

This program will tell you which sign of the zodiac you were born under. If you enter a typo or a wrong number, you will be told to try again. Check out the elseif clause!!

I can't belive I FINALLY got this!!! I probably wrote a lot of unnecessary code in this one, but every time I tried to combine strings I would get an error message. Check to find out what your zodiac sign is.

The CSS wouldn't copy over to the php file. I couldn't figure that part out, since I copy/pasted the exact link line from my HTML. I don't know why it didn't work.

The CSS is still there, it's just that it is only selecting elements that appear on the first page. The second page has none of those elements to select. Should change the selector to "body", since both pages have a "body" tag, and the design rules you have apply generally to the body anyway...

The birth sign is the place where the sun makes its transit through the Zodiac during the year. To find your astrological sign, select your birth month and date.

In case my quiz went over *that* badly, here is a zodiac sign-teller for back-up points. Thank goodness for online resources and programming books. Well, enjoy!

Here is the page I made to calculate your Zodiac Sign. I cannot believe how much difficulty I had figuring this out! I finally did so with help from the videos, a few online resources (although I definitely had to tweak them a bit), and a couple of my fellow ICMers :) Enjoy!

Tweaking online scripts is perfectly OK. Just remember to give credit!
