I got my blueberry muffin recipe page to add some reader comments that had been collected on the database from my previous coding that populated the database.
I've been exploring Google Book Search (I met with some members of the team recently) and I find many other people aren't aware of it. I was hoping to be able to find and browse an O'Reilly book here, but I see they don't fully participate in the program. There are, however, many books offering a Limited Preview, so hopefully others will find this bookmark of value.
The blueberry muffin recipe now includes a way for people to send in their names, email addresses and comments about the recipe, and my database will keep track of all the information, ready to spit it out to me at a moment's notice!
The birth sign is the place where the sun makes its transit through the Zodiac during the year. To find your astrological sign, select your birth month and date.
Here is my final project, a way for people to rate their courses and make comments. I outputted the professors' names, when the course was taught and the comments, figuring that was the most relevant information.
A 10-question multiple choice quiz about -- big shock -- "It's a Wonderful Life." Step 3 of the assignment isn't exactly followed religiously, but I'm praying for mercy.
My review and map of Rolf's -- a cozy German restaurant in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan. I have a lot of great memories of this place... and hopefully more to come!
A no-frills javascript validator that checks for blank spaces and makes sure the correct type of character is used. Still thinking about totally foolproof email validation. Not too good for security, though, since javascript can be turned off by the user.
When you asked for a visual depiction of something that looks like dice, I wasn't really sure if you meant game dice, or Andrew Dice Clay, so I included both. Which serendipitously happens to cover the "two dice" requirement as well... right? :) Tee hee hee. Anyway, here you'll find some html, css and php combined with images.
In case my quiz went over *that* badly, here is a zodiac sign-teller for back-up points. Thank goodness for online resources and programming books. Well, enjoy!
