We all see this and not just in the hosting industry. Prices like 7.95$ or 5.99$ or 1.90$. They mean just 8$, 6$ and 2$ on the excel sheet plus come cents more or less.
I own several forum/chat sites and a competitor of mine has for several months used his forum to engange in acts of a harassing /racist nature directed at our members and admins.
I am using WHM/cPanel as my Control Panel solution and I have a customer who presently has two separate hosting accounts basically for the same website. He is looking to migrate to one site, however does not want to lose his present domain, e-mails, etc.
I purchased a hosting site from a member here a year ago, we got about 50 clients using those name servers, the domain name is not transferred yet (how stupid am i?), now it has the original owner name on it in the registry.
Every day, I get about 200 visitors to our hosting site, but only one or two sign up. I currently only provide email support. If I add phone support, do you think I will get more customers sign up?

Well I finally received a three months refund ($15.00) from the owner of A Small Orange - ASO a week ago after my year contract was up in June… (I had numerous up-time problem from December through February and ultimately moved to another host in February)
I have a VPS (full DNS control) where I host my main site, call it mysite.com. I want to add a forum, but I'd like to host the forum elsewhere in order to separate the forum (open source, potential hack target) from the site and gain some security through encapsulation.
