Today we all use the web, but Tim Berners-Lee drives it.  It's his vision, uses his protocols and he presides over it at the World Wide Web Consortium.  What was a childhood obsession with connections has become a movement that has transformed the planet.Surely, Berners-Lee ranks with Gutenberg, Marconi and Alexander Graham Bell as one of the most influential people in the history of communication.  However, his predecessors stopped at one major innovation.  Berners-Lee is going for an encore. Comme vous l'aurez remarqué, ce blog porte le titre de "The Transcendent Man's blog", ceci nous amène à la notion de l'homme transcendé ou en d'autres termes à l'avènement d'une époque où l'homme et la technologie ne feront plus qu'un !  Je conçois que cette notion peut vous sembler soit lointaine alors qu'elle est déjà si présente, soit complètement folle et pourtant il vous suffit d'observer un tant soit peu l'évolution exponentielle des usages technologiques pour comprendre dans les grandes lignes les trajectoires qui se précisent de jour en jour devant nous : l'homme augmenté, l'IA, le Global Brain, la Robotique, les nouvelles interfaces hommes/machines, le M to M, les exo-Squelettes ou exo-Brain que sont par exemple déjà vos smart-phones, … et la liste devient de plus en plus longue et imminente !
