  •
Players and spectators enjoy the clear ocean air of one of the World's most beautiful beaches as described by National Geographic. The beach is home to the Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament to be played for the 30th consecutive year in August of 2011. It is the largest amateur beach volleyball tournament in the world with over 800 teams playing on 100 plus courts. Divisions range from parent and child to Masters 55+, along with our Men, Women and Co-ed Open Divisions that feature current and retired AVP ranked players. Seaside Beach Volleyball is consistently the highest ranked and most visited amateur beach volleyball tournament around! Our teams travel from as far as the East Coast and Hawaii as well as Canada. Our tournament is known throughout the beach volleyball world and is mentioned by many AVP players as "the one to go to." And, Seaside Beach Volleyball is as organic as it comes… no bleachers, no required team shirts, no plastic clapping devices and no entry fee for spectators! Best of all when the tournament is over there is no trace of it left on the clean white sands. NEW DIVISIONS THIS YEAR INCLUDE Men's/Women's B & BB Doubles, Masters 55+ Doubles, Coach/Player and Parent/Child Advanced 2′s Division Visit our website at: http://www.seasidebeachvolleyball.com/ http://voolii.com/Events/tabid/66/EntryId/16/31th-Annual-Seaside-Beach-Volleyball-Tournament-Oregon.aspx

Voolii Teams up with Maverick Hatch - 0 views

  •
Currently, Voolii has sponsored a new pro-beach volleyball player, Maverick Hatch, from Comox, British Columbia and resides in Toronto, Ontario. Although the young pro player has three other sponsors, he states: "I am stoked to be sponsored by & working with this great Volley company (Voolii) in 2012." Voolii agrees and is proud to bring this exceptional player on board. His role and participation with the company is greatly appreciated! Maverick has become one of Canada's top beach volleyball players and is currently trying to qualify for the 2012 Olympics. Getting a late start toward 2012, Hatch aims to achieve a podium finish at the 2016 Olympics and beyond. In 2010, Maverick reached the National semi-final for the first time in his young career. He also represented Canada for the first time finishing just off the podium (4th place) in his first international event. Although Maverick got started playing the sport of volleyball in high school (2006), he had an excellent career and was recruited by the Malaspina University-College Mariners. While here, Hatch achieved the most prestigious intercollegiate award in his third and final year - "CCAA All-Canadian," as well as "Malaspina Mariner Male Athlete of the Year" on his way to becoming a member of Canada's National Beach Volleyball Team in 2008. Maverick is an exciting player to watch bringing a 90+km/hr spin serve to the beach along with a big presence at the net. Teamed with Sam Schachter, Mav and Sam have become one of Canada's favorite young beach volleyball teams. Having just been through a knee surgery after tearing his medial meniscus, Maverick has begun training again at full throttle. He is extremely dedicated to the sport, which makes him a perfect fit to Voolii, as the company is also dedicated to working hard to make volleyball a better and bigger sport. Voolii Lifestyle and Maverick are both very excited to come together and achieve greater goals on every level in the great sport of
