Experience life and volunteering in one of the most historical, seaside cities in Ghana.

Tamale is the capital of the Northern Region of Ghana. It takes 11 hours by bus to reach Tamale from the capital city Accra. The population is about 300,000, with a significant number of expats and foreign volunteers in the region.

Live and volunteer in a remote African town in the Volta Region, away from the major tourist trails and the bustle of Accra.

Volunteers in this program teach English to local children in either private, government, or mission schools. Although English is the official language of Ghana, the children rarely get to learn from non-Ghanaian speakers of the language. Volunteers do NOT have to be native speakers of English.
