Hi Guys!
I use this game to test out its level editor.
At the bottom, it says, "Download EXE".
If you'd like, download the game.
You can also use the picture on top. Click it to start.
WIthin the game, there is a level editor.
I use it to test out odd ideas, and I see it like Sploder.
Instruction to go to the Level Editor:
1. Make a new save with the Play button.
2. Finish the tutorial and then get to the castle.
3. Walk into the castle and go to the star-door at the top right.
4. Talk to the toad.
5. Jump into the blank portal frame.
You will also get a code that marks your game if you select the right tool.
This allows games to be shared. :D
Enjoy the level Editor! Reminds me of Sploder. What do you think?
This video (and channel) deals with making a simple Platform game using the game maker language. You can see how the D&D actions of GM are translated into code, and how much you can manipulate them to do what you want, instead of being limited by the D&D's format. For someone with no previous experience with GM or coding, these videos can be very useful as an intro to what you can do with the software.
This video is very cool and it not only teaches you things about gamemaker, but it also shows you cool things about how to create a great 3d game. Also, if you like to go outside the box, than you will definately like this video.
Hi again!
I found some cool tutorials for when you build your Minecraft maps.
I've started, and I thought this could be useful for anyone who's also making their Minecraft map.
Enjoy!
Hey people! I just want you all to know if you are looking for sound effects to add to your game, go to this URL: http://themushroomkingdom.net/wav.shtml. It offers lots of old school sound effects, mainly Mario ones. Anyways, hope i helped you out!
Although a majority of the sprites are based (or are from) animes, there are still a whole bunch of cool sprites that you can incorporate into your game here. They also have some cool backgrounds you can use!
Cube 2 is a first person shooter/ map maker game. I have used it before and it is a really fun game to play bot matches and create complex intricate levels. definitely try it out it is a lot of fun
