good place for examining issues - out of the usa though - can be used for debate and discussion between students, schools and across countries. Remeber you must have topics of relevance to Australia for your orals. Yr 12 must have topics that have been in the media since sept 2010.

This is a good Issues resource site, especially for oral topics. However ensure that your issue has a relevant Australian context and can be supported as much as possible by Australian data. Your audience is Australian - our cares are for our own issues.

this one is to get you in the habit of writing on the spot...give it a try! remember you are writing three essays of about 1000 words each in three hours - practicing writing for one minute a day would be a good place to start training
