Now, there's a newly released app that's something of a "Netflix for children's books," with its library of titles especially for kids. Some very popular titles that are hard to keep on the shelf, can be accessed here. Kids are LOVING!

I used Epic! with one of my RtI intervention groups. It was a group of "reluctant readers" who just needed more time engaging with text in a high autonomy format. They love it!

Since Google removed the reading level option from their advanced search menu I've received at least one request per week from readers looking for alternative options. Recently, I have started to suggest trying Choosito. Choosito is a search engine that offers a reading level index for its search results.
