I shared this because I thought classmates who love writing might be interested in seeing the different types of writing contests that Fish sponsors each year. The resulting Anthology is a treat for readers and writers! The 2011 Fish Anthology was launched by Brian Turner on 6th July, in Bantry, Co Cork, Ireland, during the West Cork Literary Festival Fish is an open door that's inviting writers to walk through it.It has to be encouraged, celebrated, congratulated.

This is a great way to create flashcards for just about anything. I have used it for story and character ideas and love the customization of it. 10 million flashcards or create your own.

I posted this because I like to keep this (and a few others) on my computer desktop for quick access while writing Free online dictionary, thesaurus, spanish-english and medical dictionaries, audio pronunciations, Word of the Day, word games, and many more high-quality Merriam-Webster language resources.

This isn't really a cool web link or tool but for people unfamiliar with it, it is a great "writer's" publication which includes many different writing styles to enjoy!

This site was one that I found by accident and it looks very interesting. It is a tool for visually mapping out projects and ideas as well as a collaboration tool (it integrates with Google docs). I haven't used it yet, but the video overview looks fantastic - check out the video! Create, share and collaboratively work on mind maps with MindMeister, the leading online mind mapping tool.

I shared this site because I thought it was a fun way to help get the seeds of an idea to grow! The story starter provides more than one billion different story starters. The Story Starter was selected as one of the top 101 sites for writers by Writer's Digest Magazine for 2008.
