Anywhere you live in America there are a host of native plants that when you plant these types of plants in your yard the benefits from them help improve the air quality by absorbing air toxins, improve the ground water supply by filtering out any heavy metals and do not need pesticides to grow. These plants also bring in bees, butterfly's and ward off pesky bugs like mosquito's by giving off a scent that acts like a bug spray. Native plants are hardy and once they are planted they rarely need to be under constant care or frequent watering. Most of all they pretty to look at.

Since the high rise price on gas there have been people thinking of ways to make a fuel source that is clean to burn and cheap to use. Algae has lipid oils in its makeup and it is shown to burn cleaner than fuel oil. It is converted into a bio-diesel fuel that will replace in the future to heat homes and vehicles. Algae is easy to grow too also.

This is a new way to build a home that will be very energy efficient compare to regular homes today. The cost is about 20 percent more to build a green building but the long term cost is very low. Overall the quality of life is better to live in one of these places. You have cleaner air inside the building to start, the drinking water is pure, the waste water is recycled and it creates jobs for years to come to build green. Everything about building a green building is economically smart.

The navy has found a way to convert seawater into a feasible way to make jet fuel without refueling while at sea. The carbon and hydrogen gasses produced from the seawater extraction process are converted to liquids using metal catalytic converters in a reactor system. That liquid product contains hydrocarbon molecules with carbon levels suitable for replacing petroleum jet fuel, the NRL noted in a press release. The test phase was done on The Navy successfully used the new fuel-from-seawater process to power a radio-controlled scale-model replica of a World War II aircraft with an internal combustion engine.(Huffington Post)

This new technology for coal produces no emission that will go into air compared to older power plants that do. It also produces clean drinking water from the power plant itself that can be used to irrigate farm lands. Hydrogen is also produce from the coal itself that even produces more energy to run on and is used to power vehicles in the very near future. The emission get pumped down into an old dry oil well or it pumped into the ocean but deep under ground that will crystallize the emission itself due to the pressure of the ocean floor.
