I think I would start here instead of Khan Academy because this resource includes Khan Academy along with 7 other collections that focus on math.

"Explore collections from around the world" by using Google Arts & Culture. LOTS here, but I capture this for the 10th grade students doing research on Martin Luther King, Jr. A simple search of Martin Luther King, Jr brings up over 400 historical pictures, letters and telegrams as well as audio of MLK's speeches thus providing primary resources for students to delve deeply into history.

I would suggest the use of this OER to 3rd grade teachers. Currently in collaboration with the library, 3rd grade students conduct a research assignment on the animal of their choice. Part of my collaboration effort is to teach the students about the various sources that are out there and how to use their effectively. I think this Encyclopedia would come in handy when students are prepared to collection information on their animal of choice.

Take your students on virtual explorations of museums, archives, and art collections from all over the world. Very interesting perspectives, resources, and relics available here!

Impressive collection of really old audiobooks...simple and free!

OER resource with videos, articles, and more. Searchable by standards, subjects, and grade levels. I also like how I can curate a collection of information to share a folder with a group or class.

This resource from WISELearn Resources is a collection of primary sources exploring the poetry of Maya Angelou, giving students an experience in understanding the difference between primary and secondary sources and the opportunity to think critically about synthesizing information found across many sources. I plan to share this with my 8th grade ELA / SS teachers.

This is listed in our course and is a fantastic resource for a PLD on OERs.

What is Pressure? Very interesting simulation for students.

I wish I'd known about this collection of OERs during the last school year! They feature clear navigation, plenty of graphics, and sub-collegiate reading levels. Some lessons include interactives and quizzes as well. GCFLearnFree offers many topics, but this will link you to its page of technology-related items. Some, like "Typing Tutorial" or "Using Information Correctly" would be perfect for students to work through independently. Others, like "Google Drive and Docs" would be appropriate for students or staff development.

If you have students who are looking to learn a different language, this collection may be the right fit for them. We have two students who want to study German, this will help guide them. Also, I believe our foreign language teacher would find it helpful for students.

This collection of Creative Commons Noncommercial Share Alike videos by MIT students may be used to augment many different K-12 science lessons. Playlists include the "Science Out Loud" series and "#AskMIT."

This is the MOSAIC Multicultural Book Collection from Lincoln Public Schools Library Services. This resource has a variety of books for educators to use that reflect different cultures. Some of the books even have additional resources for teaching.

This site is a wealth of standards-aligned resources (video, interactive lessons, interactives, lesson plans, media gallery, audio, images, docs, webpages, collections) for PreK-13+. You can build lessons and sync to Google Classroom.

One of my favorite book resources for teachers! It is listed on Badgerlink and definitely worth highlighting during a staff PLD. Two of my favorite features are the meet-the-author recordings and book excerpts. Many of the book have links to activities or lessons, and some books have links to book trailers. Plus, you can print QR codes or directly link to the books in its database!
