I hesitate to put this up here since this is technically about college students but I feel that there are a lot of similarities about what they say in the video that is relevant to the lives of college students is also highly relevant to the lives of high school students.

This website gives valuable information about every school and district in the state. Information ranges from teacher salaries, ethnicity breakdowns, and PSAE scores. This is a good source for future teachers to decide where they would like to work someday, and current teachers to see trends in their school and district.
This website contains the Illinois State Standards for Science. It should be helpful as a reference point for seeing if the lesson plans you create comply with some of these standards.
