This website held a lot of discussion boards on multiple topics on literacy and writing. However, I clicked on about four of those discussion boards and only one had comments. Maybe the website isn't that popular. It seems like a good idea though...I guess it could be helpful maybe it just need more publicity.

Things I'll Never Say - 7 views

That was a cool website. It looks like it is a way for undocumented to have a voice, and share with the world their stories. The website seems very user friendly, and very engaging. It is also for a good cause not just for making some type of profit. Overall I really do like this website because it is so user friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and it is for a good cause.

Who is talking about litereacy? Undocumented youth.... Who isn't talking? ????

I really like the concept of this webpage. I like that it gives anybody, and everybody a chance to tell their "story" if they choose to do so. I also like that it's not just about writing, but includes photography and media.
  •
I like this website. Personal writings about teen life problems, success, and obstacles. The site could help teens through their lives and inspire them that life goes on, things get better, and writing can definitely help!

I really enjoyed exploring this website. All of the stories were really good and let you see what it's like to be an undocumented youth in America. It was interesting getting to see the situation from another point of view than just what is broadcasted on the news. I think this is a great way of giving this group of people a voice.

I really enjoyed looking though this website. It was easy to navigate and fun to look at. I noticed that the writer spends a lot of time talking about what the place looks like. She goes into vivid detail about the table arragements, the parking and the lighting on the patio. I think that this website gives people a chance to share their ideas and stories.

It was really remarkable to see these young different youth in America sharing their struggles and sharing it in a way where they can really connect to it. For example, Jessica Lee seemed very emotional reading a piece of poem she wrote which really showed me how much sharing can help oneself. I feel like allowing someone to share and expand their feelings can overcome their shadow. -Randy San

I really liked this website. I love how easily accessible it was. It was remarkable that these people actually got up in front of people and were so brave to tell their story. I think this website would help others to come out of their shell and tell their personally life stories. You never know, one person talking about their struggles might help someone else overcome their own life struggles.

It was interesting to see how problems from many different categories were addressed, and how this group's solutions to them have made an impact by helping governments, emergency responders and citizens.
  •
I think it's neat that they use technology to solve real problems for real people
  •
I like how all the companies (ie Microsoft, HP, Google) are coming together for a better cause.
  •
I like how they use this to help social development. They use this to help.
  •
This is interesting. People who are involved in programs like these must feel really good about themselves. Everybody love everybody!
  •
I like the idea of using a collaboration of people from all over the world to be able to work on solutions using technology to make the world a better place.
  •
This is very similar to the Public Kitchen idea. It's cool how different events can be used to explore social situations. It's interesting that there are so many organizations who all have similar goals.
  •
So awesome to know it's in over 30 different countries. Really cool how everyone could collectively work together to better something.
  •
I think it's cool how they are taking something that usually has a derogatory meaning and making it good and helpful for others.
  •
I like the idea that the companies are coming together and their solutions to problems are actually very helpful!

Start from identifying, defining and refining problem definitions provided by subject matter experts and local stakeholders. This shows that even though most people think that hacking is all bad, sometimes it can be used to upgrade security on websites that are supposed to be secure. Interesting job to sit there and try to hack someone's website and get paid for it without the worry that you might get caught and sent to jail for a federal crime. I think if I were to get into hacking this is something that i would plan to do for a job.
  •
Kind of boring webpage, but I think it is a good thing that people are coming together to find new ways in technology and making it better.
  •
I don't know what exactly this organization does to implement this technology, but I think it's pretty cool that can hack into technology.
  •
Great way to get people all over the world to interact and solve problems together!
  •
I don't know much about computers, (let alone hacking!) but this seems like a good way to identify problems and offer solutions under a bigger group name so that one might be able to have their idea taken seriously instead of simply overlooked. I guess it would be fun for people who enjoy this sort of thing too.
  •
This is a pretty neat thing. I like how people are working together from different countries to help solve problems through technology.
  •
I seems though that the very people who can solve problems are not just helpers, they are difference makers in people's lives. Being able to connect with others from different places just makes things more better.
  •
They haven't yet gotten very big yet impact wise but, I like where they are going with this. I think that they have really good problem solving ideas and that they have something really good going for them.
  •
I think it is cool that they have places for people to get involved and they work to inform people about different events that are going on in their area.
  •
It was interesting to see how they were trying to use hacking in a positive way. Such as the giving back and voicing thoughts.
  •
I think that it was very good that they made hacking a good thing instead of how it is portrayed as a negative thing. I also liked how it was more than one country working together to solve problems.
  •
This webpage was very interesting to read. It's amazing how so many countries are coming together to fight for a greater cause.
