This site is like a virtual bulletin board. It allows for information sharing for a group project. I think some collaborative activities could be created. I do think this site would need a moderator.

This is a free site that allows private meetings. Kind of like a coatroom without the distraction of online media. It is a great suggestions for students to collaborate on group projects if they cannot meet in person.

This site allows you to share text with other teachers, students or anyone. It would be a good way to allow students to collaborate for a project

this encourages an interactive learning environment. Students can get on thier devices in class. They use within the class and questions can be added in any topic and students gett o answer through their device and then the results show up on the board. This is a fun way to interactively use technology in my class.

This site combines physical education with the science of sports! It explains some fun ideas like how to find a sweet spot on the bat in baseball and how to throw a curve-ball. It tells about the skill and explains the science behind it. I think this would be fun to try out with students.

KidsHealth in the Classroom offers educators free health-related lesson plans for all grades and subject areas. Each Teacher's Guide includes discussion questions, activities, and reproducible handouts and quizzes - all aligned to national health education standards.

This offers a lot of options for health and physical education on this site. It even had a lesson on dental care. Students need to know how to take care of their bodies and overall health I think I would be able to use this site to teach students about taking care of themselves. It would give me ideas that I may not even think of on my own.

This site offers a variety of hands on experiments you can explore and create with studetns. It has an extended version that can be purchased, but it offers a variety of experiments that can be accessed for free. Hands on learning is something I love and this would give a variety of opportunities for bringing science to life.

This website has fun songs to help students learn about biology, chemistry, earth science, physics, and there are even more. I think a catchy song helps students remember information more effectively than just reading it.

This site has raps to go along with specific historical events. It requires a membership to use. It allows for a free 90 trial for teachers. Some schools may already have a membership, however it has so many great ideas and sites I'm sure it your school would see the value in the membership. If nothing else you could plan to use it in one specific semester and use the free trial and have a different teacher do the same thing the following year and so on.

This is a fun interactive way to learn about the states. If you click on a state it gives a lot of facts. It tells how many people live there, and even breaks it down to how many boys and girls and how many by ages. i.e. nine year olds, ten year olds etc.

I liked this website because it has reading games and activities, but one link that really jumped out at me is there is a specific link titled guy reads. I know reading is for both boys and girls but finding books to peak interests of my boy students may prove more challenging and I like this resources ideas.

A fellow classmate showed me this blog and I wanted to be sure to have it. Since I am interested in teaching 4th grade, I think this website gives so many classroom activity ideas and because it's a blog, it has honest experience and personal accounts with lots of pictures. I am going to use this website for classroom ideas, from activities to classroom management.

This website is definitely for the 21st Century skills classroom. It has many videos- more for teachers resource. I can use this website to explore and get ideas on many hard to find topics- like teaching email etiquette to exploring copyright wrongs.

This a good resource for teachers. It offers alot of videos and coaching for educational tools in today's education teacher.

I could see myself using this website for the digital books and other free professional developments. Not everything on the site is free. "

Personal learning network for educators to use and collaborate with other teachers, which is a bit more personal and immediate than other sites.

I can use this to talk to other teachers or other people to get classroom ideas or just to ask question anytime I need to talk to another teacher.

This is a ning site dedicated to the support of a Personal Learning Network for Educators. This website, after creating an account, allows you to network with other educators and has a wide collection of inspiring articles and helpful links. This would be a great website to swap ideas with other educators or read threads to keep up with helpful and relevant conversations.

This website is like twitter, but instead of having students enter with an email address, they enter with a school code. I think this is a great idea because it can be used to start understanding digital citizenship as they communicate with other students and teachers. I think there could be other uses too- like to keep in touch with students about important information.

This website is a great platform for having another form of communication with students and families. I could see myself using this website as a tool to stay connected with parents where important links, documents and other information could be posted. Depending on the grade level, I could also use this to have students post their work to.

This website provides so many physical education activities with videos on how to set it up and then how to play it. I would use this to help provide me ideas for activities.

HowStuffWorks explains thousands of topics, from engines to lock-picking to ESP, with video and illustrations so you can learn how everything works. The name of this website says it all really- children are so curious and this website provides a video or article on pretty much any question a child has. I would definitely use this for further information on a topic, I might even have some students explore this website in order to "teach" a different topic on how something works.

Kids.gov: The U.S. Government's Official Web Portal for Kids... Aside from the extensive amount other grade level appropriate subjects and topics, this website has great science resources for teachers and students. There are many videos that break down subject matter, like how orbits work or what fossils tell about time. I would use it ideas on different science experiments and definitely for the videos, since sometimes you never know what you are getting with YouTube.
