The website provides an easy access platform for physical educators to incorporate technology in their classroom in order to engage students. This method can help reach students who are typically not active outside of class and attract their interests by providing lesson plans that they can relate to.

PEC: Classroom Teacher/Integrated Lesson Plans for Physical Education - 0 views

  •
The Classroom Teacher/Integrated lesson idea area has been designed to meet the needs of classroom teachers that desire to use physical activity to teach academic content. The content can be taught in the classroom or outside in an outdoor play area. Although this section is written for classroom teachers it is also appropriate for physical education teachers who wish to teach integrated content as well.

This offers a lot of options for health and physical education on this site. It even had a lesson on dental care. Students need to know how to take care of their bodies and overall health I think I would be able to use this site to teach students about taking care of themselves. It would give me ideas that I may not even think of on my own.

This site is like a virtual bulletin board. It allows for information sharing for a group project. I think some collaborative activities could be created. I do think this site would need a moderator.

This is cool site that has a lot of games over different subjects. The games are created by teachers to help students learn the subject. The levels range from pre-k to 6th grade. it could be useful for teachers to have the students play around a learn while they are doing it.

This site offers a variety of game broken down by subject, grade, language, and genre. This is a great tool that I could use in the classroom for different areas but just using one site and I can get great ideas for lessons for the activity work and group work.

I picked this site because I remember using it in elementary school and middle school, and remember how much it helped me with math. This site has many different math games for students to use. This site also has a teacher page as well as a parent's page. I can use this in my future class because it is a different way to learn math. Students can play games that can help them add or subtract, if they are having problems with it. I would also use this site since it has different ways to motivate students when it comes to math.
  •
I have mentioned this site before and I will mention it again. I think Cool Math is an awesome resource. It has typical math games you'd expect, such as simple addition and subtraction activities. However, it also has games that incorporate other skills as well. Some of these games really, really play on your critical thinking skills. Students can learn business strategies, complex math strategies, understand dimensions and time, and even math terms. Even as a person that totally hates math, I appreciate this website very much. I remember loving it when I was in K-12.

Funbrain is another site similar to Cool Math. It has a wide array of games that students can play. These games are in arcade style for the most part, which I think students probably really like. Another cool part of this website is that there is a "For Teachers" section. It has tools that make it easy for teachers to find a game that relates to what they're teaching. It also helps you find activities based on different standards and grade levels. Funbrain also provides flashcards that they allow you to print for free so you can use them in your class.

Free Online Educational Games for Kids- Education Games - 0 views

There are a TON of educational games on this site. You can search by subject, grade level, or both. The games on this site are geared towards lower kindergarten grades. Although I am secondary education, I realize the importance of students having preliminary knowledge before they arrive in your classroom. By students participating in activities such as playing these skill-building games, they are ensuring their abilities for the future.

It has information on physical education and how activities can be adapted for students with various needs. Health and nutrition lessons are also included. It has links about fitness outside of school. It even has information about using technology in physical education. This site seems to have everything PE/Health teachers would be looking for.

  •
    Math website for all levels
  •
This website has a list and practice work for every possible math skill for each specific grade. This isn't set up like a video game, more as a worksheet or a test. I would use this for possible homework or to for my higher students to work on.

Here's where you'll find games and activities to help you explore your health and the human body. Again another great tool to reinforce what is being taught in class but in a game form. Again If the students are embarrassed they can get it answered without raising their hands.

A great thing about this website is that you don't have to sign up and it is completely free. Not only does this site offer lesson plans, but it offers a multitude of other helpful tools as well. There are free printable worksheets and activity sheets, message boards, entire units, and project ideas. Daily writing prompts are a big part of this website, which I think is great because it gets students thinking and writing. It has other random tools for teachers to utilize and create their own, such as word scrambles, coloring pages, calendars, tests, crosswords, mazes, and more.

This site provides many different subject areas and options for lesson plans. The site says they have over four thousand to choose from so I feel this site would be helpful. This site would be most useful when looking for ideas to go along with a lesson plan that I already created or to get ideas of subjects to make a lesson plan.

This website is loaded with lesson plans for all ages. There are also lesson plans for every subject group. You can create a lesson plan on this website and also upload your lesson plans to the website. This is a great tool for teachers because even if they don't want to use these lesson plans, they can get ideas from other teachers and then they can use them in their own classrooms.
  •
This site provides an abundant amount of free lesson plans for teachers to use. This is a great resource especially when you are starting out or looking for something new!!
  •
This website gives you all the different subjects and different grades for K through 12. It gives you a lot of different ideas.
  •
Teachers have the convenience of searching for created lesson plans, sharing their own, creating their own, or being given a jumpstart idea.
  •
This also has free lesson plans for all grades, and all subjects. You could create a lesson plan too! The teacher could also get the magazine for this website. Again, I would use this for a resource and ideas.
  •
The web's largest collection of free lesson plans, submitted by teachers. Download free lessons, thematic units, activities, learning games, printables, classroom projects, and more! I would have my students use this website to use when doing projects. This would help them assign tasks when they are working and they would know what needs to be done for the project.
