"So today we're back with another huge list of content curation tools that includes some old favorites (like Google Reader, that we somehow overlooked on our original list…shame on us!), new players that have surged in popularity since the last time we published a list like this (hello, Pinterest!) as well as some up and coming curation sites and platforms."

We scour the Internet for the best quality textbooks issued under open licenses that allow for printing. Instead of finding a list of 500+ books, you'll find a short list of books we feel are really adoptable and ready to use in a college classroom.

In order to fulfill the task of analyzing and presenting their Twitter activity, students would need to use an alternative to Storify. Unfortunately, I did not have a backup plan (i.e. a selection of other curation tools for them to use.) So we took this list of 40 curation tools, divided it up among the students in the class (each student tackled 2 of the items on the list), and quickly evaluated each one to see if it would fit our needs. Some of the channels listed below have thousands of subscribers featuring some of the best science videos online.
