Great youtube video on a fictional french airline company that Catherine found. Very funny commercial that shows the crew, pilot, inside of plane, security checks etc. Great for Bon Voyage, chapter 8 les avions.

This website has video clips of Spanish speakers from around the world. Many of the clips are unscripted and are a great resource for learning natural speech patterns as well as different regional accents in Spanish. Clips include interviews, commercials, clips from movies and informal interviews about cultural norms and daily life in different Spanish-speaking countries. Clips have optional subtitles and transcriptions, and each one is accompanied by a listening comprehension exercise. This exercise requires the participant to write a missing word into a transcription after viewing and listening to select portions of the video clips.

This is a great website exploring "le port du voile" by European Muslim women. There are videos, music clips and text. I use this during our clothing unit.

This is a cool site with German videos that go along with an ecourse.  eLanguage also has stuff for Chinese, French, Spanish (along with other languages that UCLS does not teach)

Some vocabulary is unusual, but the categories are useful and the site is fun.
