Here is another good source of information on fair use, and it's "fairly" new. It's a book called "Reclaiming Fair Use" by Patricia Aufderheide and Peter Jaszi. There are excerpts from the book at this website.

This is really helpful because it opens up so many possibilities. I wish I could have attended WordCamp, but I had a conflict. One is scheduled here for next year.

What I love about this resource is the menu on the right with links to 12 different types of design - business cards, posters, even short stories - and visual examples. The examples are so helpful and really bring out how alignment can help in all categories.
