The Radisson Hotel West Sacramento is open in Sacramento, California. It was developed by 365 Hospitality and West Sacramento Hospitality, led by Ankit Panchal as CEO and managing member respectively. The 140-room hotel near Sacramento International Airport underwent an extensive renovation converting to a Radisson, including the lobby, atrium, fitness center and restaurant. Nearby attractions include River Walk Park along the Sacramento River, the Crocker Art Museum, the California Highway Patrol Academy, the California Department of General Services and several other company headquarters. Amenities include a fitness center, indoor spa and hot tub and an outdoor pool. The hotel has 4,000 square feet of event space across four rooms for up to 250 guests.

NOBLE INVESTMENT GROUP recently acquired two hotels in Savannah, Georgia. The hotels are the Hampton Inn Savannah Historic District and Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District. Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Noble, led by Mit Shah as CEO, acquired the hotels because of their position in Savannah's historic district. The city recently was named Travel + Leisure magazine's No. 3 Top City in the U.S. and included on TIME's list of The World's Greatest Places of 2021. The 7-floor, 143-room Holiday Inn Express has 2,765 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop pool and the Port Royal Tavern in the lobby. The 147-room Hampton Inn has an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a business center. In the historic district, the hotels are near museums, historic landmarks, mansions, and monuments from the Revolutionary and Civil War eras. Both hotels are on East Bay Street across the Savannah River from the Savannah Convention Center and River Street shopping and entertainment area.

Extended Stay America Premier Suites Duncan, located in Duncan, South Carolina, is now open. VMV Capital, led by Viren Patel as president, Mike Bhula as COO and Vinny Patel as CEO, developed and will manage the four-floor, 88-room property, ESA said in a statement. "We are excited to welcome the Extended Stay America Premier Suites Duncan," said Mark Williams, ESA's managing director for franchise development. "By expanding our footprint to this thriving area, we can meet the growing demand for extended-stay lodging, providing guests with the amenities and essential services to stay productive as they are away from home. The property is located four miles from the Tyger River Sports Complex and Upward Star Center, the statement added. It is also near Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, BMW Manufacturing, Wofford College, USC Upstate, Converse College, Draxlmaier Group, Benteler Automotive and the Tyger River Industrial Park.

Peachtree Group's hospitality management division was recently selected to manage the Merrill Hotel, Muscatine in Iowa. The hotel has 122 guest rooms, 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a heated indoor saltwater pool, and a fitness center, Peachtree said in a statement. "We're truly delighted to have been chosen by Jim and Rebecca Howe to be the hotel's management operator," said Patrick Short, Peachtree's president for hospitality management. "The Howe family embodies a steadfast dedication to unparalleled hospitality experiences. We will carry on their commitment to excellence by delivering exceptional guest experiences, enhancing and elevating the hotel's reputation while generating results commensurate with this exceptional hotel's status, which continues to serve as one of the city's economic foundations." The hotel was opened in March 2018 along the Mississippi River in downtown Muscatine and is located near cities like Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline/East Moline in Illinois, the statement said.

NEWBOND HOLDINGS HAS acquired Aloft Tampa Downtown in Tampa, Florida, marking its third downtown riverfront hotel investment in the city in 24 months. This takes the company's total to more than 700 hotel rooms and more than 800 ft. of frontage along the Hillsborough River, Newbond said in a statement. Niel Luthra is the founding partner of New York-based Newbond Holdings. The 130-key hotel, located on the Riverwalk, provides both indoor and outdoor amenities, featuring a waterfront pool, gym, corporate meeting and event spaces, as well as a bar and lounge, the statement added. Newbond is planning a comprehensive hotel renovation to include all guestrooms, public areas and the pool deck. "Our third hotel investment in downtown Tampa since 2021 demonstrates our conviction in the long-term Tampa growth story," said Neil Luthra, founding partner of Newbond. "Tampa's robust job and population growth; flourishing convention and tourism business; and continued institutional investment have created one of the strongest real estate and hospitality markets in the country."

EVERGREEN HOSPITALITY DEVELOPMENT Group has selected the third-party management company Resolute Road Hospitality to oversee two of its Oregon hotel properties. These are the Hampton Inn & Suites Portland Tigard in Tigard and the Hampton Inn & Suites Sherwood Portland in Sherwood. The Hampton Inn & Suites Portland Tigard offers 152 rooms between Beaverton, Lake Oswego and downtown Portland. This property is close to downtown Portland, the Oregon Zoo and Washington Square shopping mall. The 73-room Hampton Inn & Suites Sherwood Portland provides lodging in Oregon's wine country. It's close to Sherwood Market Center, Stella Olsen Memorial Park, and various wineries including Ponzi Vineyards, Tualatin River and the National Wildlife Refuge.

The Best Western Plus Magnolia Inn & Suites is now open in Cleveland, Tennessee. The recently renovated 87-room hotel, owned by Jay Patel, is near the Ocoee River which offers recreational activities, such as white-water rafting, swimming, fishing and boating. Also nearby is the national headquarters of Church of God, national headquarters of Life Care Centers of America, a Whirlpool Corp. manufacturing plant, the Wacker Chemical Co. plant and Cleveland State Community College. Amenities include a fitness center, outdoor pool and meeting space to accommodate up to 30 people. The newly renovated 70-room hotel is near the University of Central Florida and other local colleges, including Strayer University Orlando East Campus and Valencia College East Campus.

Magnuson Hotel Little Rock South in Little Rock, Arkansas, is now open. It's owned by Mahesh Patel. The 90-room hotel is a former Choice Hotel close to Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, University of Arkansas Little Rock, River Market, Little Rock Convention Center, William J. Clinton Library, the Museum of Discovery and the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum. Amenities include refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. ShreeGanesh Inc., led by President Jatin C, recently opened the 59-room Red Roof PLUS+ in San Antonio Northeast, Texas. The pet-friendly hotel underwent renovations by the company prior to its opening. The hotel is near San Antonio River Walk, Morgan's Wonderland, Toepperwein Medical Center, Randolph Air Force Base, Methodist Hospital Northeast, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld San Antonio, and LEGOLAND Discovery Center. San Antonio International Airport is approximately eight miles away. Red Roof operates more than 60,000 rooms across nearly 700 properties in the U.S. and worldwide.

HOS Management, led by President Kris Patel, recently acquired Residence Inn Savannah Midtown in Georgia. The 66-key hotel is near City Market, Oglethorpe Mall, Candler Hospital, historic downtown Savannah, River Street, SCAD, and Memorial Health University Medical Center. The property also provides easy access to the beaches of Tybee Island, St. Simons, and Jekyll Island. "We had a great experience working with Hunter Hotel Advisors, especially Mayank Patel and his team, on this acquisition," said Patel. "The Residence Inn Savannah Midtown is the perfect Marriott addition to our portfolio." HOS Management, based in Savannah, Georgia, is a family-operated hotel development and management company with properties under brands like Marriott International, Hilton, IHG Hotels and Resorts, and Wyndham. Founded by brothers Anil and Kirit Patel, the company began with the acquisition of the Benton Motel, their first independent motel, in 1985.

Red Roof Inn Hutchins is now open in Hutchins, Texas. The 41-room hotel is owned and operated by Jay Patel as his first hospitality venture. Red Roof Inn Hutchins is close to Dallas and attractions including the Cold War Air Museum, Trinity River Audubon Center and Trinity Forest Adventure Park, Red Roof said in a statement. Red Roof Inn Hutchins is pet friendly and is part of the RediRewards program from Red Roof. The hotel also takes part in Red Roof's RediClean program. Patel was introduced to Red Roof by a friend and existing franchisee. "Red Roof's team has supported me throughout this project, from start to finish," Patel said. "Special thanks to Alex Shamsuddin, Red Roof's Regional Vice President of Franchise Sales, who collaborated closely with me to secure permits for the ideal location in Hutchins, Texas.
