Home2 Suites by Hilton Conyers Atlanta is now open in Conyers, Georgia. The 91-key hotel is owned by Atlanta-based Vector Hospitality Inc., led by president Aman Patel, and Chattanooga-based Eraa Hospitality. This marks Vector Hospitality's entry into the Conyers market as the hotel's manager, the company said in a statement. "We are thrilled to bring Home2 Suites by Hilton to the vibrant Conyers community and to officially open the doors of Vector Hospitality's inaugural hotel," Patel said. "This marks an exciting milestone for our company, and we are grateful for Hilton's continued trust and partnership in bringing this project to life. We look forward to welcoming guests and becoming an integral part of this dynamic and growing area."

G6 HOSPITALITY INTERNATIONAL Inc. and HotelKey plan to update technology across its U.S. and Canada properties, with HotelKey remaining the core property management system for all Motel 6 and Studio 6 properties. G6, now part of OYO's global portfolio, is led by Ritesh Agarwal as chairman, while HotelKey is led by Aditya Thyagarajan as president. The announcement was made at the Radisson Blu, Nagpur, Maharashtra, in the presence of Nitin Gadkari, India's union minister of road transport and highways, the companies said in a joint statement. "HotelKey's feature set and user-friendly interface have consistently delivered strong results for property owners," said Agarwal, also the founder and CEO of OYO. "Their PMS platform's high adoption rates and positive feedback from hoteliers show why they're the ideal technology partner for our franchisees. HotelKey's success story exemplifies Indian technology excellence, with core development and engineering operations based in Nagpur."

HYATT HOTELS CORP. reported a 5 percent year-over-year RevPAR increase in the fourth quarter and 4.6 percent for 2024. The company added 81 hotels with 20,721 rooms in the fourth quarter, including Standard International and Bahia Principe properties, bringing net rooms growth to 7.8 percent in 2024. However, it posted a $56 million loss in the fourth quarter but ended the year with a $1.3 billion profit. "The purposeful evolution of our business model and strong brand focus accelerated our network effect, benefiting each of our stakeholders," said Mark Hoplamazian, Hyatt's president and CEO. "Our fourth-quarter results demonstrate the strength of our commercial offerings, as evidenced by the growth of the World of Hyatt loyalty program, which reached approximately 54 million members. Our operating results and industry-leading net rooms growth allowed us to achieve record levels of gross fees while returning more than $1.2 billion to shareholders in 2024."

Sonesta Essential Hotels Overland Park is now open in Overland Park, Kansas. The 82-room upper-midscale property is owned by Mihir Patel. The hotel is near Overland Park Convention Center, Oak Park Mall, the Museum at PrairieFire and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Sonesta said in a statement. "Sonesta is proud to open the second Sonesta Essential Hotel in Greater Kansas City," said Keith Pierce, Sonesta's executive vice president and president of franchise and development. "Since its debut in early 2023, Sonesta Essential Hotels has excelled as the portfolio's fastest-growing brand.
