Shantivan: The National Shrine Of Delhi. Shantivan, commonly known as the forest of peace. It is the cremation spot of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The samadhi is covered with lawn is situated north of Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's samadhi.

Badkhal Lake History - It was built soon after the country got Independence in 1947 to facilitate water supply to the nearby farms.
