The first step is to assist in code editing (specifically HTML, CSS, and Javascript), but to also add hooks for any type of editing (mail reader, configuration files, etc). It currently supports XML and Javascript syntax highlighting modes (Evoked with M+X XML MODE and M+X JAVASCRIPT MODE respectively)
