Very cool search engine. You can ask for upper elem to college results. Divides the results into websites, videos and images and if you create an account you can save the items you "pin". If you create a class you can see where your students have been searching. There are even quizzes over material searched.

- The history and methods of public information campaigns in America.
- How to identify the most effective form of sharing information with the public.
Students will be able to . . .
* Write an "abstract" describing their plan and model for their campaign
* Evaluate a person's attempt to change something for both its motivation and effect
* Select and create the medium most effective for conveying their message.
Applications for Education
Unfortunately, the videos in Science Magazine's Video Portal don't have embed codes for placing them in your blog or website so you will have to just link to them. The nice thing about the videos is that each of them is connected to a print article that your students can read. The videos could be a good support material to have students view after an initial reading of the connected print article.
