Great Resource for creative writing and integrated lessons/activitities.

COUNTDOWN is a challenging interactive television math program which has engaged tens of thousands of students through broadcasts on cable television in Chicago. Capitalizing on the one on one relationship a student viewer has with television, COUNTDOWN makes math "work".

Love this site - I am always looking for new websites for kids, and these are current and have reviews about how good or bad they are. You can also subscribe to get a weekly email about new sites and their reviews.

Kindergarten - respect, resource, rant

This something I here myself repeating all the time. Students are always in such a hurry they skip the proofreading part.

This would be a good idea for a health teacher.

A good lesson to utilize the things I have learned with searching for information. This lesson is like a timeline for transportation.

I will use this for my students when we are working on power points. It seems like there is always some picture we can't find. There are some very good sites linked on this page.

I like that these are organized by months and phonics.   Appropriate for grade school mostly or students that still struggle with some phonetic awareness.

I like this site because it has a nice collection of poetry sites.  Some of the links do not work, but www.poetry180 is a decent collection of poems geared for high school readers.

Oh, I love this!  I have been looking for a wide variety of journal/blog prompts.
