This week I am hosting some guest bloggers. This is a guest post from Susan Myers. A group from an intellectually disabled class visits the media center once a week. During the year, we made bird houses, conducted science experiments, used the catalog to locate books, and listened to stories.

Two veteran educators from Fairfax County, V.A. are in the process of writing a book using anecdotal data from their experiences on how they believe the introduction of smart phones has severely decreased critical thinking and engaged learning in their respective classrooms. Joe Clement and Matt Miles "say the free periods that are part of their school schedule have deteriorated from lively talk among students and teachers to silent screen reading, each student in a little world," according to The Washington Post.

Terms paper is very important for the students as it has a certain percentage of marks that would be added to their final exams and therefore students are very conscious when that takes experts advice in completing their assignment.
