Clonazepam Side Effects - What Are Clonazepam Side Effects - Klonopin - 1 views

    • Meg Donhauser

Both Hurley and Jack were taking clonazepam. It would make sense that Hurley had hallucinations before taking the drug, but Jack sees his father (off the Island) when he is addicted (I think). Additionally, Jack gets confused in the Season 3 finale (the first flashforward) and talks about his father being alive, when he is in fact, dead.

NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness | Mental Illnesses - 0 views

  •
Are there other characters that exhibit traits of mental illness? Charlie's drug abuse could be a sign of mental illness--it'd be interesting to look at when he started taking drugs, since at first he was so against it when his brother started.

Hurley Sees Dead People - 2 views

  •
Hurley's visions of the dead may lend us insight into this theme of mental illness/instability in LOST. Perhaps we can use this chart to organize who Hurley talks to, where he talks to them (island vs. off-island sightings - is there a difference?), what they say to him, and if there are any patterns or observations.

Lost 's 12 Most Terrible Parents - TV.com - 1 views

  •
If we treat this list academically, can we find patterns of behavior in "bad parenting"? Is abandonment the great parenting sin in the Lost universe? (Anthony Cook and Locke, Ben denying his love for Alex, Claire abandoning Aaron, Charles abandoning Faraday, Chang abandoning Miles, Diane turning her back on Kate) If so, what does that say about Jin and Sun? Is there another pattern concerning parents who force children to follow in their footsteps/traditions? (Mr. Paik and Sun, Eloise and Faraday, Christian and Jack, Widmore and Penny, Jacob and his mother). Does this tie back to the idea of cycles.
