Solpass activities are intended to supplement, not replace, solid classroom instruction by providing review of the specific concepts and information that the students are likely to encounter on the SOL end-of-year test. By making test preparation easy and convenient, we hope to encourage excellent classroom instruction, which need not be sacrificed for narrowly focused "teaching to the test".

ReadWriteThink is an outstanding website that students can create projects using technology. This site contains an easy timeline creator. It allows students to quickly place historical events in order with links, pictures, and descriptions. This does not require a student or teacher account to use and is free.
