Why integrate technology into the curriculum? This site would be good to use when conducting professional development for a group of teachers, especially for teachers that may be reluctant to use technology in their classrooms.

This site gives examples where school reform has been very effective. This site would be good to use with other teachers and administrators to identify what high performing schools do differently.

Hi, I found this listing to be quite unique! In the "About Us" area of the web site I noticed this is funded by the George Lucas foundation! Soooo, interesting because "George Walton Lucas, Jr. (born May 14, 1944) is an American film producer, screenwriter, director, and entrepreneur" (Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Lucas). He is credited with the films Star Wars, THX1138, and American Graffiti. All are excellent narratives scripted with no boundaries. Like his foundation moving education into an informative learning arena is also similar to the TIM matrix of building blocks and learning styles. At first I was tentative to give this a thumbs up due to its project based learning systems that the site endorsed. Many Web 2.0 tools are shown on this wiki that will serve as an excellent resource. This site could be used with either adult learners (teachers) or students when integrating technology into the classroom.

This blog post is all about authenticity in project-based learning. A major criticism of PBL is that many projects fail to meet what some people have as a authenticity standard. For many if it isn't situated in the real world, working with real tools and problems, then it isn't authentic. However, this article provides a nice perspective on how there are varying degrees of authenticity, which are appropriate based on the context. This would be a great blog to follow if you are interested in PBL.

I had Ping for Media Planning and Production last semester, and we used PB Works for our class wiki. It's extremely user friendly, and so easy to navigate. It's one of the better wiki building sites.
