The day has arrived, folks. Verizon and Apple has confirmed that the Wi-Fi version of the iPad will be available from Verizon starting on October 28th.
Verizon is reportedly rolling out its LTE network on November 15th without a 4G-enabled phone at launch. However, they apparently will release some new handsets on Black Friday.
Whether this surprises you or you were preparing for it, it's still kind of unsettling. Verizon is apparently prepping to do away with unlimited data plans with the introduction of its 4G service.
Bad news for Droid Incredible owners. Verizon is saying that Froyo won't roll out today and they don't have any information as to when it will. Bummer.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is officially headed to Verizon, although we'll have to wait until Thursday to see it made officially official. If that makes sense.
Seriously, if you have Verizon, you definitely want to check out the photos of this EVO-like HTC device that just surfaced. It makes the Motorola Droid 2 look like a 'kids toy.'
While this isn't official, several sources are indicating that Verizon may drop Google Search in favor of Microsoft's Bing on future Android phones, including the Droid series.
