Answer Underground is an iOS education app that helps students learn by connecting them with study groups across the country. Teachers are able to create groups for their students to join and can customize the privacy settings for each group. The teacher can then verify the content shared and mark student answers as correct.
Push notifications give students and teachers the ability to see group activity in real time and get instant notifications when questions have been answered. The free app can improve peer communication as students help each other learn.

Back in 2009, I tried to put together an eJournal publication titles 'Robotics in education'. Whilst we did get some great submissions, they weren't regular enough to make the eJournal a continuing project.
Here are the 3 editions we managed to put together. I'm going to re-post each article separately over the beginning of 2012 (with proper acknowledgment of course!) to make it easier for search engines and people to find them and hopefully make use of them."
