"A social justice technology program for girls CompuGirls is one of a few programs in the nation to combine culturally relevant teaching, social justice and technology. It provides girls access to technology and the internet they might not have otherwise, as well as peer support, which makes learning easier. CompuGirls is a culturally relevant technology program for adolescent (grades 8-12) girls from under-resourced school districts in the Greater Phoenix area and soon in Colorado. Supported by grants from the National Science Foundation, CompuGirls provides fun summer and after-school classes where participants learn the latest technologies in digital media, games, and virtual worlds and become a voice for social justice and change in the world."

Technology Applications is the state enrichment curriculum that addresses the recommendations in the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology, 2006-2020. It defines the technology literacy and integration requirements for students, teachers, and librarians in No Child Left Behind, Title II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology.

The Technology Student Association (TSA) is the only student organization devoted exclusively to the needs of students interested in technology. Open to students enrolled in or who have completed technology education courses, TSA's membership includes over 150,000 middle and high school students in 2,000 schools spanning 48 states. TSA is supported by educators, parents and business leaders who believe in the need for a technologically literate society. PETI - Evaluating Educational Technology Effectiveness Profiling Educational Technology Integration (PETI) resources are available to all stakeholders including states, districts, schools, and other organizations, to assess the integration of technology.

Founded in the fall of 2001, the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) is the principal association serving, supporting and representing U.S. state and territorial educational technology leadership. SETDA works in partnership with like-minded individuals and organizations as a forum for inter-state collaboration, cooperation, and best practices.

Our learning curriculum offers free, educator-created and classroom tested technology tutorials for teachers and students.
