This article really made me think hmmmmm....... Although these robots can perform simple tasks with out many mistakes, in order for them to become a large part of our life, we must increase the efficiency of these robots. Also, the article mentioned the fact that much of the functioning of these robots is based on feel rather than other senses. If we could make these robots more sensitive to sight and hearing, or if the robots could recognize a command based on a sight or sound, then we would really be in business. However, do we really want these robots in our lives, i mean think about how dependent we are on cell phones and other computer technology to go through out the day. As well, what if these robots become so efficient that they replace the jobs of working citizens. What if they out number us. What if they are accidentally programmed to develop personalities. What if they TAKE OVER THE WORLD. looks like we better be nice to the C3PO's and R2D2's of our future, or who knows what will be in store for the human race Thank you -jake i-h ;)
