Digitale Didactiek - 1 views

  •

ChronoZoom - 0 views

  •
Imagine a timeline of the universe, complete with high-resolution videos and images, in which you could zoom from a chronology of Egypt's dynasties and pyramids to the tale of a Japanese-American couple interned in a World War II relocation camp to a discussion of a mass extinction that occurred on Earth 200 million years ago - all in seconds. Based on an idea from a University of California, Berkeley, student, ChronoZoom - essentially a zoomable timeline of timelines augmented with multimedia features -- is coming to life.

Kids today vs. kids in 1982: What a difference a generation makes | Articles - 1 views

  •
It's good to be a kid these days. Or rather, it's better to be a teenager now than it was 30 years ago. That's the essential argument made in an infographic from Besteducationdegrees.com. Today's teens make more money in their crummy jobs, enjoy PlayStation instead of Coleco Vision, and have cell phones on which they listen to their music.

That's a very nice infographic. How can we use it in the classroom?
