Kebony and CustomBeach recently installed more than 900sq. ft. of environmentally friendly Kebony wood decking for the Miami Science Barge, a floating urban ecological laboratory and public environmental education centre.

 At the base of a rocky cliff face on the Turkish coast now stands The Babylon Beach Club housing the Monk Restaurant. The site has regained its natural look and feel through the use of Kebony wood which clads the exterior of the building.

Tasked with delivering a brand new design for this visionary primary school, the architects Sprunt made Kebony an integral element of this inspiring project. 

Kebony is a highly durable, sustainable wood with the performance of the best tropical hardwoods. It requires low maintenance and brings low life cycle costs.

Just over a year ago the popular golf and country club was transformed into a premier destination for the environmentally-conscious traveller with the addition of seven luxury holiday apartments, clad in Kebony.

Walker & Martin Architects and Kebony received the prestigious Surface Design Awards for the Sustainable Exterior Surface category. The prize was given for the wooden cladding of two contemporary beach houses, located at Camber Sands, East Sussex.

The ground-breaking and environmentally-friendly project, Greenbanks in UK encompasses approximately 2,180 sq. ft. of inspirational living space on just one level. Cladded in durable Kebony character pine, Greenbanks is a fully detached property which evokes a perfect sense of peace in its woodland setting.

Built with Kebony's modified softwoods, Martial Cottle Park in San Jose will complement the 287-acre landscape and include a 4,000 square foot Visitor Centre adjacent to the park's historic orchards, a 3,600 square foot Staff and Maintenance Building with storage and a 300 square foot entry kiosk.

Kebony boardwalk is used for the decking of 68 seasonal docks at the Marina at Harbor Shores of St. Joseph, Michigan, USA. The docks range from 35-40 feet in length and the broadside docking will hold transient vessels up to 200 feet in length.

Approximately 800 dwellings are built at Sørenga in Bjørvika, Oslo, Norway offering a fantastic location right on the waterfront. All boardwalk and promenade decking is in Kebony character which has developed a beautiful silver patina over time.
