Betis vs Sevilla Tips @ 2 - 0 views

  •
Rayo Vallecano are finally in a position to dream of La Liga survival. Photograph: Javier Etxezarreta/EPA In the middle of Rayo Vallecano's dark days, when they'd been beaten 15 times in 20 games and the goals were flying in; when they'd let in five from Atlético Madrid, five from Málaga, five from Villarreal, four from Espanyol, four from Sevilla, four from Barcelona, three from Madrid, three from Osasuna, and three from Valladolid; when they plummeted to 19th and stayed there for 11 long weeks; when the only reason they didn't fall further was that Betis were even worse; when even a glimmer of hope, a 4-1 win over Málaga, immediately gave way to a six-goal hammering; and when relegation wasn't an "if" but a "when"; there was a phrase that got repeated over and over: Paco Jémez will die with his ideas. Paco Jémez, though, had other ideas. Not because Rayo's coach was going to back down on his principles - "any club that signs me knows what it's getting," he insisted - but because he didn't have any intention of dying at all. Even when Rayo were a disaster, Jémez had his defenders. Off the pitch, that is. Last season, only two teams in Europe had the ball more than Rayo did: Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Early this season, when Rayo played Barcelona, they had more possession than them, the first team to manage it in 316 games. They threw men into attack, they were fun to watch, and parading the touchline in a dizzying array of multicoloured elbow patches and waistcoats, pink shirts and purple ties, Jémez urged them forward, always. In a country that values the aesthetic, or in which some do, he was eulogised for the way his teams played de tú a tú: as equals. Rayo didn't simply defend - sometimes they didn't defend at all - but instead they went for it. And, mostly, they lost. Rayo took the ball off Barcelona and Jémez declared himself "very proud". But they were beaten 4-0. They went to the Camp Nou where they were praised by Barcelona's

1x2 Free Betting Tips !: KPL awards Thika points for abandoned Leopards clash - 0 views

  •
AFC Leopards have been fined Sh500,000 after the club fans caused the abandonment of their Kenyan Premier League game against Thika United a fortnight ago. The KPL Leagues and Competitions Committee also awarded two goals and three points to Thika United for the match that was abandoned in the 83rd minute. Thika were leading by a solitary goal by the time of abandonment. (READ: Fans disrupt AFC, Thika United league match) According to KPL Chief Executive Officer Jack Oguda, the committee found Leopards guilty of causing the abandonment of the game after their fans invaded the pitch before the end of the match. Referee Nassur Doka tried to restore normalcy but when it became clear it was becoming a security risk, he decided to call off the game. The chaotic Leopards fans engaged the police in running battles in and out of the Nyayo Stadium causing damage to private and public property. "The verdict is out and Leopards will have to pay Sh500,000 and forfeit the match. Thika United have been awarded the three points and a 2-0 win margin," said Oguda. The decision means Leopards remain 12th on the 16-team KPL log with 14 points from 13 matches after the league body opted not to dock the 13-time Kenyan champions points. Last week, Leopards Secretary General George Aladwa demanded that KPL awards the club three points claiming that Thika United, being the home team, failed to ensure there was enough security during the game. "Thika United were the home team, they should have provided enough security. Their players also refused to return to the field of play even after calm had been restored," said Aladwa. "We therefore demand that AFC Leopards be awarded the three points," he added.

LSG vs. DC IPL 2025 Match Prediction: Who will win today's 40th match? - 0 views

  •
LSG vs. DC: The IPL 2025's high-stakes drama continues as the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) get ready to host the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 40 on Tuesday, April 22, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. This matchup confirms fireworks as both teams compete for playoff spots. Even though they recently defeated the first IPL champions, Captain Rishabh Pant's performance has been a big worry. Even though he only scored fifty runs in this edition at the Ekana Ground, the Indian dasher has only amassed 106 runs in eight games. The left-handed batter's ability to duplicate that performance in this game is therefore still up in the air. In contrast, the Delhi Capitals won four straight games to start the season. But in their last three games, the team has dropped two of them. They will have to work hard against the hosts this time, after Axar Patel and his team battled against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad in their previous match. In the background of all of this, the cricket community will never forget how the Delhi Capitals defeated LSG by one wicket when they played each other earlier in the league in Vizag, owing to the heroics of Ashutosh Sharma. LSG vs DC Match Details Match: Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals, Indian Premier League 2025, Match 40 Venue: Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground, Lucknow Date and Time: 22 April 2025, 7:30 PM Live Coverage Details: Star Sports (TV), Jio Hotstar LSG vs. DC-Head-to-Head: The Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants have already faced one another six times in IPL history. With no games concluding in a draw, both sides have won three games apiece. The Delhi Capitals won their most recent match on March 24, 2025, by a thrilling one-wicket margin. Ashutosh Sharma led the Capitals to a decisive victory in Visakhapatnam with a brilliant knock under pressure. KCA suspends Sreesanth for three years. - 0 views

  •
For three years, the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) banned controversial former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth from all state batting-related activities. The KCA said that his comments during a TV debate regarding Sanju Samson's exclusion from the Indian Champions Trophy selection, as well as his subsequent response to a KCA notification, were rude and unsuitable. At a general body meeting on April 30, the association made the decision. A few other people, including Samson's father, Samson Viswanath, had also received letters from the KCA for making similarly false statements. The KCA is currently considering its options about Samson's father's reaction. Though it is understood that his response was not as defiant as Sreesanth's, who seemed to blame the association for Samson's non-selection, the association is still unhappy with his attitude. Sreesanth shares ownership of the Kerala Cricket League team Kollam Aeries. The former India pacer, who received a life suspension by the BCCI until the Supreme Court of India cleared him of any role in the alleged 2013 IPL controversy, would not be allowed to participate in any cricket-related activities in the state for three years, according to KCA spokesman Vinod Kumar. However, he is still able to be a part of the KCA league team. In addition to being a member of the two World Cup-winning teams (2007 and 2011), the 42-year-old Sreesanth, who played for India in 27 Test matches, 53 ODIs, and 10 T20Is, made comments about Samson's lack of selection for the Champions Trophy on a Keralan local television channel that the association believed were incorrect. He received a show-cause letter, and the general body declared suspension based on his response. "His response was poor. In simple terms, he held us responsible for Sanju's eviction from the Indian team," Vinod remarked. "A few other people have also received notices from us. In actuality, we were also accused of not having Karun Nair play for Kerala. However, those

  •
IND vs ENG Khelojito247 Match prediction 2nd T20I: In the opening game of the five-T20I series, which was played in Kolkata on Wednesday, the Indian cricket team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, defeated Jos Buttler's England squad handily by seven wickets, continuing their winning streak in T20Is. India, who have won three straight series under Suryakumar, beat England 1-0 in the Eden Gardens to take a 1-0 lead. First, Varun Chakravarthy showed off his skills with the ball once more by capturing 3/23 as the bowlers held the visitors to a below-average score of just 132. Arshdeep, Hardik, and Axar each claimed two wickets. While no other English batsman scored more than 17, Buttler led England in a lone battle with 68. Abhishek Sharma, the youthful opener, hammered 79 runs off 34 balls with five fours and eight sixes, making the chase easy. Botha and Van Wyk lead South Africa to the final game. - 0 views

  •
South Africa defeated Australia by five wickets in the first semi-final and secured their spot in the Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup final for the first time thanks to a four-wicket haul from Ashleigh van Wyk and a blistering 24-ball 37 from opener Jemma Botha. Australia chose to play in sunny Kuala Lumpur, and they were immediately at a disadvantage when quick bowler Nthabiseng Nini trapped Ines McKeon leg before wicket on the opening delivery. At the bowler's end, skipper Lucy Hamilton's punch bounced off Nini's fingers onto the non-striker's stumps, and Grace Lyons, who had been promoted up the order, was run out after backing up too far. The South African bowlers, Hamilton and Caoimhe Bray, were cautious and stuck to a wicket-to-wicket line. Only halfway through the fifth over did Australia score their first boundary, but Hamilton soon added a couple more off Nini. Then South Africa's skipper, Kayla Reyneke, missed a sweep and hit in her opening over, putting her opposite number in front of the stumps. Australia failed to score a boundary in 7.3 overs while South Africa put on a spin strangle. In 47 balls, Bray and Eleanor Larosa combined for 27 runs for the fourth wicket. After Larosa was dismissed by a spectacular return catch by Seshnie Naidu, van Wyk took charge and destroyed the Australia lower middle order, taking four wickets in three overs. For Australia to reach 105 for 8 on a strong batting strip, Ella Briscoe's undefeated 17-ball 27 was essential. It wasn't anticipated that South Africa's pursuit would be easy against an Australian attack that hadn't given up more than 100 points during the tournament. But Botha wasted little time. Botha started out by hitting back-to-back fours against Larosa in the opening over, batting far down the track to nullify any movement. A Chloe Ainsworth in-ducker quickly defeated Simone Lorens, who also began with a four. However, Botha was unstoppable. South Africa quickly reached 50 for 2 in six overs thanks to he

MI vs GT Match Prediction, Match 56, Playing 11, Pitch Report, Weather - 0 views

  •
Match Overview: MI vs. GT, Match 56, IPL Prediction: GT has an edge in face-to-face meetings. In their six matches with MI, they have won four of them. As a result, GT has a 67 % win percentage compared to MI's 33%. This game is important. The team that wins will take the top spot in the standings. Both teams are doing well right now. The Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans will face off on Tuesday, May 6, at Mumbai's storied Wankhede Stadium. Three of the hosts' six straight wins came while defending totals, and the other three came while pursuing targets. With one of the finest comebacks this season, the five-time winners are now in third place in the standings. In addition, MI has a strong possibility of finishing in the top two and breaking their five-year title drought. GT, on the other hand, is the favorite to win their second IPL championship and has also appeared to be in good form this season. Shubman Gill's team just defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by a commanding 38 runs. Gujarat won by 36 runs in their most recent meeting in Ahmedabad, primarily because of the performances of Sai Sudharsan and Prasidh Krishna. Virat Kohli retires from Test cricket - 0 views

  •
Virat Kohli, famous Indian batsman, has declared his immediate retirement from Test cricket. In 123 Test matches, the former captain of India amassed 9230 runs at an average of 46.85, including 30 hundreds. As cricket moved to three formats and a vibrant franchise ecosystem, Kohli also left as India's most successful Test captain and a passionate champion for the longest format. "It's been 14 years since I first wore the baggy blue in Test cricket," Kohli said on Instagram on Monday, May 12. To be honest, I had no idea the path this format would lead me down. It has put me to the test, molded me, and given me lifelong lessons. "Playing in whites carries a very particular meaning. The long days, the quiet grind, and the little moments that nobody notices but that stick with you forever. It's difficult for me to leave this format, but it feels right. It has returned far more than I could have imagined after I gave it everything I had. "I'm leaving with a heart full of appreciation for the game, the teammates I played with, and everyone who helped me feel like I was seen. "I'll always grin when I think back on my Test career. #269, concluding." Following the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin, Kohli's decision to leave Test cricket marks a significant change that Indian cricket hasn't seen since the departures of Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman in 2012 and then Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag. Months after being a member of a squad that won the ODI World Cup, Kohli made his Test debut in 2011 against the West Indies at Sabina Park. After a difficult first year of adjusting to the longer format, he settled in in 2012 with a brilliant 116 against Australia in Adelaide, a place that would hold great meaning for him. He returned to the South Australian capital for India's subsequent tour in 2014, where he led the team as a stand-in captain and scored twin hundreds in a close loss. Following MS Dhoni's retirement in Melbourne a few weeks later, Kohl

AFG vs SA Khelojito247 Cricket Match Prediction Group B Playing 11 Pitch Report - 0 views

  •
Match Preview: In the third game of the ICC Champions Trophy, Afghanistan will play South Africa. Karachi's National Stadium will host this game. The top eight rated men's national teams will compete in the Champions Trophy 2025, which will take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025. New Zealand, India, and Pakistan are in Group A. Meanwhile, South Africa, Afghanistan, England, and Australia are also part of Group B. Expect the Champions Trophy 2025 to be a fiercely competitive event with only three games for each nation and simulated knockout cricket. South Africa and Afghanistan have played five ODI matches against one another. Afghanistan has emerged victorious twice in these five games, while South Africa has won three. Bavuma will captain South Africa, and Shahidi will head Afghanistan. South Africa has performed successfully in the ICC competitions, making it to the WT20 2024 Final and the CWC 2023 Semifinal in India. Having lost on both occasions, they will be eager to advance in this CT. Afghanistan performed admirably in the 2023 50-over World Cup after making significant progress. Their goal is to surprise a few teams under potentially favorable circumstances. It looks like this will be a fiercely competitive game. Afghanistan vs. South Africa Match Details: Match: Afghanistan vs South Africa (AFG vs SA) League: ODI Champions Cup Date: Friday, 21st February 2025 Time: 02:30 PM (IST) - 09:00 AM (GMT) Who Will Win the AFG vs. SA Today Match? South Africa will come out on top in today's match between AFG and SA. We think South Africa will win the Champions Trophy 2025's third ODI. Pitch Report: In contrast to the Karachi Stadium, the batters in the most recent game had difficulty getting going right away. The surface appeared to get more difficult to play on as the game went on, giving the pacers an irregular bounce while the spinners were able to turn and gain some grip. Given the outcome of the last game, the captains may decide to bat first and
