So this isn't a piece of performance poetry but this might be quite a cool opportunity to go and see some performance poetry. Boston Poetry Slam run a poetry open mic night at The Cantab in Cambridge where all sorts of poetry, good and bad, can be performed. Could be great or could be terrible!
There are three poetries here. They are all very moving. If you believe in hope, if you care for the soldiers and if you support gay marriage, they are all here. Go for it and try not to tear up.
